Campus Tech Fest is a gathering of young and vibrant tech enthusiasts who want to learn, network, eat and drink as well as have maximum fun at the same time and same place. We are the new school, and we vibe differently!

Research has shown that Africa is at crossroads. This is particularly true for Africans as the continent is highly suffering from atrocious misplaced priorities. The average African youth is more concerned about being the first to acquire or consume new tech products and/or services as against contributing to the tech ecosystem via tech innovations. To solve this problem, we at TechTrybe Africa have decided to create the CAMPUS TECHFEST because a new generation of fast-forward thinking, productive and highly innovative youths have to be considered. Notwithstanding, one cannot deny the exponential growth the African Tech Ecosystem has witnessed in the last few years with the likes of Jason Njoku of Iroko Tv, Mark Essien of, Shola Akinlade of Paystack and Gbenga Agboola of Flutterwave just to mention a few. This growth has created the need to bridge the gap between the Tech Industry and the Academia.

Students need to have a one on one encounter with well-established Tech Entrepreneurs and Industry experts to be able to have a clearer mindset on the power of technology and how to leverage on it as well as learn from their mistakes and challenge themselves to do much more (#BeyondPossibilities).

The CAMPUS TECHFEST is a newly created annual students event that sets to fuse entertainment and technology learning together and attract at least 3,000 people including students, academia, youths, corporates and the general public. These tech enthusiasts would all converge at a selected higher institution in Africa. The maiden edition of the event is set to hold on Friday, 16th of August 2019 between the hours of 10am and 5pm at the prestigious University of Lagos in Nigeria.
